Denver/Colorado/Cowboy/Western Cha-Cha A couples stationary or line dance Cha-Cha. Singles may readily do this dance intermixed with Couples. This dance is widely done in the west and has been done often on Club Dance. This writer was taught this dance at Midnight Rodeo Club in North Albuquerque by an NTA instructor, tho the instructor did not know the origin of the dance. Couples use either Skater's or Sweetheart position. The usual romantic Neon-Moon type of music goes great with this dance. 1-4 Lfwd Rback Cha-Cha-Cha 5-8 Rfwd Lback Cha-Cha-Cha 9-12 Lback Rfwd Cha-Cha-Cha and 1/2 turn right 13-16 Rback Lfwd Cha-Cha-Cha and 1/2 turn left 17-20 Lback Rfwd Cha-Cha-Cha and 1/4 turn right (Men need to step forward enough to make room for their partner's steps here.)
