Here's where I say thank you to those without whom this house would still be intact.
Without Stacy I could never have started this project, I couldn't have qualified for the mortgage. She has changed a lot. I never thought she'd let a wall go unpainted for as long as it has (Living Room Wall). It'll be done soon... I love you.
Together we owe a lot of people thanks for their help or training and support in this project.
As I may have alluded to, I was an abused child, forced to work for substandard wages (but a great medical plan) in adding a second story onto my family's house. That house, which first saw construction in my 8th grade still is moving toward completion. (I'm several years out of my Master's degree, you do the math). Along the way we learned a fearsome amount about construction, materials, safety, and above all else, how to stop bleeding and not let Mom and Dad know. I want to thank Mom & Dad & Brandon & Ginger for their work in shaping me into a big buff Mrs. Winchester.
As people show up, they end up here...

GingerGinger has been the first of my family to come swinging a hammer. Mostly 'cause she was venting from finals. Congratulations on graduating! |

BrandonSo far Brandon has been my Photoshop expert leading to many abuses of the power of digital imagery ALREADY. Just wait until I get a bit better... By the way this is an actual image of Brandon in the Australian Outback being threatened by a rabid koala. . . I expect Brandon will be more of a physical help when they stop deporting him every week or so. |

SabrinaSabrina has left this realm (L.A.) for a new start on the other side of the country. I think she found out we were insulating. She has been an amazing source of enthusiasm, especially when it comes to demolition. |

CarolynCarolyn helped clean the living room wall. She made the mistake of not moving away and will be trapped soon into more work. Regarding the picture -- it will be replaced when she feels like looking at the camera. . . Yes, it is a Faire security guy she is being led off by. She has asked me for clarification of this picture. She doesn't remember. There are small mercies. |

Dave & LizDave helped me schlepp the piano to cover the in-progress wall. 'Nuff said. He will return for much machoness. Liz's days of schlepping are on hold for now due to a coming attraction, but she is a great baker and a provider of moral support. |
SarahSarah advised me this page background was butt ugly (gray) and picked the new colour. (Had to use the British spelling, this text editor is too damn smart) She also helped to flip the door when Stacy got to the garage side. She will return for more artistic advice. |
