ello, my name is June Rosenberry, and here is a little information about me:

      I live in Los Angeles, California and love it here. I got here because of Scientology and would have not been able to get here from Ohio without Scientology.

     When I was a child my father once told me that he believed he was a spirit, which he visualized as a bright spot of light in the middle of his chest. Since I was only 10 years old, I believed him and didn’t think much more about it.

     Later, as an adult, I was sitting in the back yard feeling dissatisfied and thinking that there must be more to life than this. I had a husband, my own business, a home, 2 cars and 2 dogs. His kids came to visit on weekends, and I had decided I did not want children of my own. I had 3 sisters who all had kids, and I loved my nieces and nephews.

     But still there was this dissatisfaction.

     I went to the grocery store and bought several paperback books on spiritual subjects, and while in line I met an old friend. He told me about Scientology and took me to the local Scientology Organization where I signed up for the Communication Course.

     I was flabbergasted! Here was REAL information that I could use every day. Someone actually knew what communication was all about.

     After that I took a course from Scientology in how to study. I had always envied my husband because he could take a book, read it, and know how to do it. He did this with a car engine, which he had never before taken apart.

     I knew I couldn’t do that. If I wanted to learn something I had to have a teacher, and even then it was a big struggle to understand.

     Scientology changed that! I now can take a book on any subject and learn that subject. No teacher. Just the book.

     I then took the Applied Scholastics’ Teacher’s Course and opened a branch of Applied Scholastics (the educational program that teaches people how to study) in my town.

     One student, a 17-year-old boy, came to me and did the Study Course. About 2 years later I saw him in line at the bank. He was dressed in business clothes, suit, tie, overcoat. He had become a man. He rushed up to me and thanked me for teaching him how to study. He said it had helped him with his new job and he knew he would use it for the rest of his life. Everyone in line heard the story.

     Scientology has helped me in many other ways. I have always been the kind of person people come to with problems, and have always given advice. However, with Scientology my advice became real help. I simply told people what I had learned through L. Ron Hubbard’s writings and they went away happy. Later they would come back and tell me what they had done and thank me again and again for giving them the information they needed to solve their problem.

     Once a mother came to me to tell me her teenage daughter had yelled “I hate you” at her. The mother was very upset and came to me in tears. I told her what L. Ron Hubbard wrote about situations like this and she decided what to do. She went home and did it and she and her daughter were reconciled within about 3 days. This was really reconciliation, nothing hidden by either person.

     I use Scientology information every day to help with my businesses, with my friendships, with my family relationships and with everyday occurrences with acquaintances.

     Without Scientology I would be minding my own business, doing normal things, probably in a marriage that was a compromise, in a job or business that was okay, but not what I really wanted to do. I’d be normal enough, but confused about what the world was coming to. I would know nothing about who was making society go downhill into drugs, or who was making life get more and more difficult.

     With Scientology I do know who is working very hard to make society go downhill, and who is making drugs such an everyday hazard for everyone. With Scientology I know which groups to support to combat these people.

     With Scientology I can, and do make a difference for the better. That’s what I think Scientology is all about.
