That the RLDS Church will be set in order
This dream was received in the spring of 1999.
In the dream Phil saw the Auditorium. Standing outside the north door there was a group of Restoration saints. This represented the fundamental Saints who have been ostracized from the RLDS Church. He knew that there was a set time they were to retake possession of the Auditorium. It was made known to him that the only relevance of the liberal leadership was to hold onto the Church properties until the time the Saints were allowed back in. Otherwise, they were irrelevant to the work and progress of the Church.
Finally the word came that the Saints could re-enter the Church. Just before the doors were opened, a group of men dressed in fatigues and combat boots came in lockstep, marching in doubletime, and crowded to the front of the waiting group. When the doors were opened, this group marched right in, went straight to the front of the Auditorium chamber and started to preside over a service.
Phil knew that what was going on was not according to the Spirit of the Lord. In the dream a rebuke of the Holy Spirit was given against these people, and immediately they disappeared from the sanctuary. After they were gone, he noticed that the Auditorium chamber was about 1/3 full of people. The only ones who were left were Saints who had one purpose in mind. They were sitting around somewhat frustrated now because they had been unable to build Zion, and their desire was now to do what it took to build the kingdom. He looked at them, and they were the most beautiful people he had ever seen. Then the dream closed.
The dream represents the cleansing of the RLDS Church. The Lord will remove from His house those who have polluted the church, and will return it to the faithful Saints as many other testimonies have prophesied. Phil was given to know in the dream that the militant group had something to do with the one-person-in-the-Godhead heresy (see Note below). The military garb and manners are symbolic, at least, of a neo-militancy that is even now beginning to show up.
The "one-person-in-the-Godhead doctrine", generally known as modalism, denies the unique relationship between the Father and the Son, and says that they are really only different manifestations of the same personage of God. This doctrine has been divisive in times past, and has split various congregations and groups. Many leaders of the Restoration have labored to correct this idea, including Patriarch Elbert A. Smith.
While the exact interpretation of the dream may not be fully understood at this time, the basic outline seems clear. The saints will return to the RLDS Church, while the liberal leadership will be cleansed out of it. At about this same time there will be a grasp for spiritual leadership among the Restoration saints. There are indications that this is just around the corner, with many Restorationists denying the traditional doctrines of the RLDS Church and participating in a rebellion against the prophetic leadership of Joseph Smith Jr. and Joseph Smith III. The Saints should be extremely careful at this crucial time, who they accept for their teachers, so they do not stray from the doctrines of Christ's church.
