Dream of High Priest Arthur Rock

This testimony was shared by Arthur Rock in 1983 on a tape entitled "Testimonies and Experiences."

"I was in a large building, and I saw men leaving their posts of duty. A voice of intelligence said to me, 'These men are through. They've done all they could to lead the people to the foolish teachings of men.'

"I didn't quite understand in the mid-60's. There were many other details. This was priesthood, apparently, who took the teachings of men rather than the teachings of God, and the day would come when they would be through. As I walked out that door, I saw a group of men in close formation, dressed in simple green uniforms with a simple bill cap.

"I didn't understand, because in the mid-60's there was a lot of militancy that we were hearing about, and I was hesitant to walk through their ranks. All of a sudden the leader motioned, and they parted, and I walked through their ranks. I contemplated what that could have meant for some weeks. I asked a friend of mine, and he referred to the color and what it meant, the strength of God and so on. And then it occurred to me in the intervening years, those were the men God had prepared to carry on His work -- symbolic the simplicity, the strength they had, the age they were, the determination they had -- they would carry on God's work. And those who were walking out didn't even know they were around."
