The "Earthly Presents" series is one which reflects the wonderful variety of nature.
Each painting represents a glimpse, just a sliver, of nature. These gifts of nature
can be found along the sides of roads, among fallen leaves, and beside river banks.
When first attempting to capture the subject for a piece, the Artist zooms in on the
subject to capture the smallest nuances. Texture and color become amplified. Each leaf contains dozens of colors, and each
piece of earth contains its own unique texture. The Artist's goal is to translate these nuances into a painting
which transports the viewer to that particular place and time in nature.
