Strange Brew
Bring your Honey to National Mead Day!
Greetings!
Join us at Strange Brew on Saturday, August 7th, 2004 (10 am - 5pm) for National MEAD Day!
Mead Day is a national event to help increase camaraderie among homebrewers and meadmakers and introduce or reintroduce the meadmaking hobby. Each year on the first Saturday in August, homebrewers around the nation are encouraged to invite non-brewing and brewing friends and family to celebrate by making mead.

What is Mead? Mead is a fermented honey beverage, which people have been enjoying for thousands of years. It can be a powerful aphrodisiac, and is said to imbue the drinker with long life, wisdom, courage and strength.

Join us at Strange Brew in Marlboro, Massachusetts for a day of MEAD MAKING demonstrations, Sampling, and BBQ. We'll be tapping the much anticipated Orange Banana Mead for the first time. *Be sure to ask about the Secret Ingredient! We'll also be sampling some old favorites like "Green Mint Mead", "Orange Blossom Mead", and "Rose's Quick Mead" which we brewed on National Home-Brew Day. Of course, we'll also be sampling and discussing Beer, Wine & Cider too! BYOB ! Rain or Shine!

Free admission.
