HARDEST TO FIND LX PARTS! |

LATE IN GETTING THIS OUT, BUT --- Side Mirror, drivers side, inside plastic "triangle" cover plate. Usually bent in & cracked from the securing screw stop-post being too short. The regular LTD cover plates appear to match the LX. However, it seems that most came with Vent windows & most of those had manual operated mirrors. Covers for these can be used in a pinch, but they have an opening for the manual lever. The few regular LTD's that had electric adjustable side mirrors, (all LX's did), had to have front bucket seats, as the mirror control was in the drivers armrest. The passenger cover plate is just a bit easier to find, as a few LTD's came without passenger side mirrors. And these were probably the most striped, low cost ones, so most of these also came without Vent windows, so the plate is just like the LX's!
Horn Bezel I don't understand why so many of these have the "brushed aluminum finish" wore down! Mine with almost 200k miles is just about like new! Console Top Direct, hot, Sunlight deteriorates the cover material & it starts to chunk off. This console was also available as an option in 83, but the colors were different. Might come close to the LX's Gray with a vinyl spray-dye.
