Politicians treading water or wearing blinders or ---

Having E-mailed 3 two page different letters & redundantly hand delivered hard copies to many at City Hall, mailed & had condensed versions published it the News Paper, I can only believe that they know of the Dangers!

The Mayor apparently sent an Police Officer to check out the situation. Good idea, an unbiased professional observer!

The Officer, talking to a resident who had also mailed the Mayor, apparently commented that he had never had seen anything like it before, didn’t think putting a Large Object in the middle of the Roadway was the way to go, & wondered why a Stop sign wasn’t used instead! So?

Nothing from the area’s Council member!

About 3-4 months into this, I contacted the Chairman of the Pacific Beach Community Planning Committee, the group who coordinates with the City on this. When I asked about all the Tow-away accidents, he appeared not to be aware of them, but said he would look into it. Now several months later, have yet to hear anything.

Not many voters on Beryl Street, I guess!
