    note:  "S" indicates parts are the Same or Standard;    "X" indicates 84 is different than 85;    "O" for Optional.

            "S or O - ?"  Should be, but don't bet on it!

    (1)  Can be installed in the LX by trimming rib on back side. 

    (2)  Gauges mounted in Dash over Glove box,  also Optional in Taxies.

    (3)  First used in the 83 LTD.  Have heard they are also found in Mercury cougar XR7's.

    (4)  Same as in 83-84 Mustang with CFI or V4,  & the 85 Mustang CFI with  AOD.

    (5) Biggest  injectors & highest flowing throttle Body Ford makes.  Only on the "HO"   52 lbs/hr.

    (6)  Earlier aluminum Valve covers had very thin mounting tabs, which broke easily. Also found in some Cougars.

    (7)  Also found on Mustangs.

    (8)  Also found on some Mustangs, Cougars & T-birds.

    (9)  Not a direct bolt-on from a Police to a LX, but can be fit.  The Police Frame is built a bit stronger so is a little different.

    (10) Still not sure if the 84's side trim is special.
