Location

Pacific Beach is under the control, or something, of The City of San Diego.

Beryl Street starts a block from the Ocean, goes East 1 ˝ miles.  This is a 2 lane, Residential only, above average value, road all the way.   The Chokers are on Beryl, at Gresham & Haines Streets are at the ˝ way point.

Doesn’t indicate on my Rand McNally map, but have been told this 3 block length between Fanue & Ingraham (traffic signal) is classified as a Thoroughfare, which has apparently prevented some other Calming measures to be considered.   Could this have been used by  some to nix other measures, for personal reasons maybe?    The City Laws & Regulations are, I bet, are full of Variances.

Also interesting is that at the next 6 crossings West on Beryl are Stop signs!

Not only is it used by Surfers in coming/going, but apparently by daily commuters going to work in the La Jolla area.
