Patrick is walking! He hasn't been walking too long (only a few weeks), but he is really advancing quickly. Making up for lost time, I guess. Before too long he'll be chasing after Sam. Patrick also has a few new teeth. He had four for a long time, and is now up to 6 I think. He's probably already working on his 7th tooth.

A few days before halloween we had the Clarkes over to carve Sam's pumpkins. Sam planted a seed packet that he got from his preschool in the spring. From one plant grew five pumpkins! On halloween we dressed the kids in their costumes and headed across the street to Sam's preschool for a party. Patrick was zebra and Sam a ninja. After dinner and games at the party we did a little trick-or-treating at our friends houses in the neighborhood. Everyone had a fun evening and it didn't even rain!

Towards the end of September the four of us went camping with Linda and Dennie, and Kari and Joe to Beverly Beach State Park just north of Newport. Brrrrrrr....it was windy and cold on the beach, but we stayed nice and toasty at our campsite with the campfire roaring.
