The bourbon stout that I brewed at the end of May just took first in the wood-aged category at the Oregon State Fair. This
is my second first place ribbon and was my best effort yet for best-in-show. Maybe next year. The beer is a foreign extra
stout (7.5%) that I conditioned for two weeks with bourbon barrel char. I will definitely be making this recipe again! Here
