Jake at 2 years old!
Wow! Has it been over six months since our last
update to this website? Life with a toddler can sure
be busy. Jake is doing great! His language skills
are growing by leaps and nouns! Quite a little
chatterbox. He now measures in at 34" and weighs
30lbs, which puts him at the 75 percentile for both
height and weight, and best of all, he is very very
healthy. Aside from running amuck ("muck muck muck"),
his favorite activities are reading, basketball,
puzzles, and galloping. We just celebrated his second
birthday, which rounded out a packed holiday season.
We had a our first at home Christmas morning, complete
with tree, and we hosted all three family celebrations
at our home. Jake had a great time, but we're all
glad to return to our normal schedule. Jolie
continues to spend her days caring for Jake and his
friend Mollie, and she's managing to fit in the
occasional yoga and dance class. Kris is soon to mark
her fourth year at ILM, making her one of the
"old-timers" in her group. She can also be found
working out at the YMCA nearly every morning, but
you'll have to get up at 5:30am if you want to catch
her. We're hoping to expand our little family of
three into a foursome this year, so send us your good wishes!
