Rincon Island is right off the coast at the Cliff House Inn . It's a man-made island used for oil drilling and sometimes it's absolutely magical . I've always thought it would make a great get-away spot .

There was a rumor some years back that it might go up for sale, and though I was just a little short on the rumored $30 million dollar price tag, it was fun to think about . Still is . Alter the landscape, add more trees, a restaurant, some rooms, fishing excursions. It could be made into a pretty romantic and entertaining spot.
