I placed them here in 1826 because their grandson John Floyd was b. in 1827.  Violet Machir in her book Violet Machir, Chapman, Jolly, Rayburn, Smith of WV & OH, and their allied families states that John F came to Putnam Co. from Botetourt Co., VA.
