This was a very busy and wonderful month for Kathryn. She was away from home almost all month and met all sorts of people during a week-long trip to Washington State and three weeks touring the East Coast. This page is in two parts: you can read Part One here or go straight to Part Two.
In New York, Kathryn stayed in Manhattan with her second cousins, Charlie and Emily.
She also braved the cold to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and other sights.
Her favorite New York sight, however, was our friends' bassett hound who loves little babies.
Kathryn also visited Boston, spent several days on Martha's Vineyard where she saw her first snowfall, took in a day of antique-hunting in Pennsylvania, and celebrated Thanksgiving in New Jersey.
