Kathryn turned one month old on July 7. We celebrated with the traditional red eggs and red envelopes. During her first month, she met her grandfather Hal, and her grandparents Chuck and Dexter took care of her.
She looks very much like her dad when he was a baby. Compare Kathryn (left) with John 33 years ago (right).
She spent lots of time horizontal, usually asleep but occasionally awake. She also got used to sitting up, and although you can't see it here, she learned to hold her head up straight too. She learned to nurse well, and was gaining nearly 1 1/2 ounces a day.
We like to sit around and enjoy her.
