This CD of sacred Christmas music features baritone John Harvey Johnson accompanied by a handbell choir, a jazz piano quartet and a classical guitar.

Many selections come from the Scandinavian traditions of the Lutheran Church -- "TRYGARRE KAN INGEN VARA" is sung in Swedish and "JEG ER SAA GLAD" is sung in Norwegian.

Four handbell choir interludes also come from the Nordic countries.

"CRYSTAL STAR" and "ALL IN ONE MOMENT" are original compositions by John Harvey Johnson and Paul Blankinship. John has sung in many churches around the country and Paul is a professional composer who recently wrote "HOLDEN VESPERS '96" for Holden Village Christian retreat center in the Cascade Mountains of North Central Washington State.
