Some of our favorte flowers, that have done very well, are purple coneflower, orange butterfly weed, Happy Returns Daylilies, Helen's Flower (Helenium x Butter Pat),  daylily Stella de Oro, Blazing Star (Liatris spicata), Russian Sage, Siberian Iris and Sweet William, Monarda (Bee Balm e.g., Jacob Cline), Campanula (Superba) or Bellflower and various Iris.

We have had problems with Black-eyed Susans and several different bleeding heart varities.  I really don't understand the problems with the black-eyed Susans as they have a reputation as being claybusters.  And I am trying different varities in different locations.

Jesus Loves you,
He died for your sins.
Jesus wants to have a
relationship with you.
You can meet Him today &
know Him forever.

“Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.  And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won’t he more surely care for you? You have so little faith!
Jesus of Nazareth, Luke 12:27-28

The Living Word
New Bible Verses

Orange butterly weed with purple coneflower, balloon flower, phlox, Siberian Iris, Autumn Joy Sedum and daylilies.  The garden Phlox is getting ready to bloom.  The Siberian Iris are though for the year but still attractive.

The butterfly weed was started from seed.  Unlike many flowers, butterfly weed does not transplant well, after it is established, as it as a tap root.

CAESAR'S BROTHER

These are great flowers.  Best to plant in fall but could transplant in spring.  Flowers in the spring, early June in Iowa.  The leaves look good even when the plant isn't flowering.  Tolerates most soils.  There are few problems with this flower.  Can be subject to Iris borers.  Lift out roots, cut of infected parts and re-plant.

Plant Seeds, get a harvest

Are you needing a large Harvest?  Sow a Seed Today

From God's Word:  " Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
Apostle Paul,  2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV
