A Seed Ministry

Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Sing to the Lord; bless his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
Psalm 96:1-3 NLT

"Awake, north wind,
and come, south wind!
Blow on my garden,
that its fragrance may spread abroad.
Let my lover come into his garden
and taste it's choice fruits."
Song of Songs, King Solomon 4:16 NIV

This site is about actual gardening from seed to harvest.  It is about actual success and failures, e.g., what's worked and what hasn't, not textbook stuff.  And about problems in between.  We have a lot of information here so take your time and look at everything.  Send us your comments on how we could improve.

After Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, God told Adam:  "Because you listened to your wife and ate the fruit I told you not to eat, I have placed a curse on the ground.  All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it.  It will grow torns and thistles for you . . . All your life you will sweat to produce food . . . For you were made from the dust and to the dust you will return."  (Genesis 3:17-19 NLT)  And so it has been forever.  The torns and thistles in my garden are a constant reminder for me and everyone who sweats to produce food or beauty from the earth.

Spring is here.  It is time to garden and enjoy the beauty of the flowers and eat of the fruit of the garden.

Paul:  In Romans

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.       Paul ( Romans 12:9-13 NIV)

Gardening Schedule

The Sring is a time for new growth and hope!  We should always read the Word.

"There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:

A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to
    uproot."  Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

"If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving—large or small—it will be used to measure what is given back to you.”

Jesus of Nazareth, Luke 6:38 NLT

Now let the sickle do its work, for the harvest is ripe.  Come, tread the winepress because it is full.  Joel 3:13 NLT

Plant Seeds, get a harvest

Are you needing a large Harvest?  Sow a Seed Today

From God's Word:  " Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
Apostle Paul,  2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV
