No gore, no sex, no profanity! For some, this would be a detractor. You have to wonder though why these things sell so much. TUCK EVERLASTING is one of those charming rarities that contains none of those facets and is enjoyable nonetheless. Sure, a few lines are a touch goofy, but it’s all so sweet. Add to that an excellent cast, and you’ve really got something. TUCK is not perfect though. Something was missing, some other essential ingredient. Upon reflection, I think a little more story between the boy and girl would’ve been nice.
