Essentially, this is ALIEN meets HELLRAISER. This one, however, never gets above being mildly interesting. EVENT HORIZON is one of those movies that looks like it’s about to get better any minute, but never does. You simply end up not caring after a while. I will warn you though; those with weak stomachs should NOT see this. The second half of this flick is so gory that you’ll be forced to turn your head quite a few times.
