GROUNDHOG DAY

GENRE: Comedy
YEAR: 1993
RATED: PG

Cynical weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) is livid over the fact that he’s returning to Punxsutawney, PA for the annual Groundhog festival. But since he only has to suffer through one day of it, Phil can sort of cope. Then in an odd twist of fate, Phil finds that he is unable to leave Punxsutawney. In fact, he’s repeating the same day there, over and over…Groundhog Day. And while Phil believes it’s a curse, it may actually be a blessing in disguise.

This movie is a nice little gem. Bill Murray is in top comical form and Andie MacDowell is great as his producer, Rita.
