If you can get past the average opener, EVER AFTER becomes quite an enjoyable love story. Drew Barrymore does a surprisingly good job and holds her own well. Angelica Huston is quite good also and should have received a Supporting Nomination. (She has the role of the villain down to a science.) The whole cast is just excellent, especially the two stepsisters. This is a fun time all around. Enjoy!
