What a lame-ass attempt to be THE FUGITIVE! And if you’ve seen that, don’t even bother with this pitiful imitation. (If you haven’t, go out and rent it, right now!) Ashley Judd’s once promising career has really taken a turn for the worst. I don’t know why she keeps taking these roles, but sooner or later they’re only gonna bury her (no pun intended). As for Tommy Lee Jones, he does his best to stay awake in this rather predictable and ludicrous plot. But sadly, even he can’t save it. The whole of it is pretty absurd really, at least in this presentation. In fact, DOUBLE JEOPARDY isn’t even mindless fun, it’s just mindless!
