DONNIE BRASCO is one of the best films of 1997, if not the best. Al Pacino and Johnny Depp are fantastic and work extremely well together. Depp is one actor that really has impressed me in recent years too. Like Tom Cruise, he’s grown beyond his “pretty-boy” status and proven that he’s a talented actor. But even if Depp doesn’t tickle your fancy, this film has Pacino. Need I say more? “Forget about it.”
