Sorry to say, but the animated wing at DreamWorks needs to pack it in. When it comes to style, originality and even quality, they just can’t compete with Disney. They’re sorely lacking in all three. Who am I to say this? Nobody, really. But I think it goes without saying that DreamWorks is only embarrassing itself more with every release. I’m not saying that Disney should hold a monopoly on all animated features or anything, but if you’re gonna do it, do it right…and they do. Hmmm, funny how you can relate this to current events, huh?

      Two death scenes in DINOSAUR are likely what contributed to the PG rating, and at least one could have been omitted. The film then probably would have received a G instead. But despite this, it’s still not too bad for you and the kids to see. Great animation and good voices make for another clear Disney winner.
