Here’s why you should always read the review. Despite giving this 2½ stars, DEAD MAN ON CAMPUS can be pretty darn funny. It’s just that the overall movie is only okay. The guy who plays Cliff though, the crazy one in the commercials, is hysterical and the best part. Tom Everett Scott is good as the straight man and his roommate Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack from SAVED BY THE BELL) is decent, but he tries too hard. If it were me, I’d have recast him in a heartbeat.

      Because of Cliff and some other good moments, this one is worth checking out. It won’t be a life-altering experience or anything, but it is fun.
