Would you believe that only a day after seeing this, I had completely forgotten it? I had to think about it a minute, just to remember the movie I’d seen only the day before. No, I’m not getting senile, I just think it’s more reflective on what a mediocre film THE BONE COLLECTOR must be, or is. I pegged who the murderer was halfway through, although I didn’t think it was that hard really, despite the deliberate red herrings thrown in to trick us. The twist though is too unlikely for my tastes and way too out in left field to be valid. The only clue you get, besides the obviousness in the formula, is in the opening credits and will be missed if you blink.

      THE BONE COLLECTOR looks to be a good suspense/thriller but mildly achieves both at best. I suggest passing!
