Strangely, the barrage of previews for this seemed endless. Because no matter what kind of movie I was in, there was always a trailer for BASEKETBALL beforehand. But even still, my expectations for this were surprisingly indifferent. And for a few laughs, BASEKETBALL is worth the matinee price, but that’s it. You’ll most likely walk out with mixed feelings as I did.

      On a side note, I do have a question. Is the point of comedy now to see which movie can be the most disgusting? Seriously, what the hell is going on? Why are these movies always taking the easy way out for nothing but cheap laughs? And I’m not singling out BASEKETBALL either. Other recent movies are guilty of this also. All I know is that over the top comedies only work if they’re infrequent. But if every single movie starts doing the same, then it becomes boring. Then it becomes about who can be sickest and not the funniest. That’s a problem!
