Just before going in, I had some reservations about seeing this, especially when the theater manager said she hadn’t heard good things. However, I must say that AT FIRST SIGHT is really an engaging love story and Val Kilmer gives a fine performance, not to mention being the tow hold keeping it all together. Nathan Lane has a good supporting role too, but his screen time just isn’t enough. The film finally suffers from being too drawn out, but is still enjoyable nonetheless.
