William Sonoma was born to a wealthy Drug Lord. Growing up, little
Billy had everything he could want, he merely had to ask. No one was
going mistreat Big Daddy Sonoma's son.
While it's true that Big Daddy had his hands full with suppliers, dealers,
paying off law enforcement and the occasional dismemberment, he always made
time for his son. Once Billy hit 18, Big Daddy decided Billy needed to
make it on his own. After all, what kind of father would he be if he
didn't teach his child how to support himself?
So Big Daddy gave Billy $250k in seed money and told him that he could set
up shop and expand anywhere other than where the family was already doing
business. Billy was the king of his own empire now.
Billy wanted his dad to be proud of him, yet he didn't want to imitate his
father. He really wanted show everyone that he could do things his own
way and furthermore, not rely on his father's reputation for getting
business. The only way around this was to conceal his identity, so he
toiled to find a mask that he could wear, one that was intimidating.
And that's when it hit him - if everyone in his organization wore the same
mask, the police would never be able to arrest them, since there would
always be reasonable doubt as to who it was. In thinking this through
further, Billy realized that an entire uniform would be necessary, so no
tattoos, or particular item of clothing could set them apart from one
another.
Billy finally found a skull mask that looked absolutely evil. He loved
it and the name of his new identity leapt to his mind: King Skull!
Feeling a surge of excitement, Billy hired a costume designer to design the
uniforms for his new gang, The Skulls! He also used some of the seed
money to run a hiring campaign on local TV, radio and the news papers.
As King Skull, Billy was very particular about who he admitted to The
Skulls. He wanted to make sure everyone had a minimum of four years
mob experience, had at least ten homicides under his or her belt and was
willing to relocate. Furthermore, those ten homicides had to be with a
firearm. King Skull didn't want a bunch of pipe and knife wielding
thugs in his outfit.
The last thing King Skull needed to figure out was where to set up shop
first. After doing some initial market research, King Skull decided on Megopolous since it was a large city with plenty of potential
and there was only one gang that ran the whole place. King Skull like
the idea of limiting his enemies to start with.
So The Skulls, sporting their brand new uniforms, packed up and headed off
to Megopolous to create new lives for themselves. King Skull was
determined to make his family proud!
