Hackers

The Beginning:
Hacking came of age in the 1970s, by hackers sharpening there skills on the mainframe computers. Then hackers turned to the telephone systems which became know as "phone phreaking." Hackers even had come together in the early 1980s, to form groups such as the Cult of the Dead Cow (cDc), 10pht (one of the oldest and most respected) hacker groups.

There are many different terms for hacking.

How it is possible to keep hackers out of my computer system?
It is easy when you have the Integrated Personal Firewall. McAfee Virus Scan is the only antivirus software that comes with an integrated personal firewall. The firewall is an easy-to-use application that prevents computer hacking. It blocks hackers from gaining access to your system.

Whether you connect via DSL, cable modem, satellite or dial-up, the Personal Firewall integrated in Virus Scan will repel online hackers, shielding your computer and personal data.
