ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS___________

CD Silkscreen Printing:
4 color process prints, Half-tone prints or PMS colors (Pantone Matching System) up to five colors. If your image is printed on a white base, it is considered one color. If custom color matching is required, there is an additional charge.

Trapping:
1 to 2 point is necessary anywhere two or more colors touch on the artwork.

For PMS colors or special colors:
 . Screening - 85 lines/inch (34 lines/cm).
 . Screen angle - 45°
 . Density range - 15 to 85%
 . Dot shape - elliptic.

For four color process :
 . Screening - 85 lines/inch (34 lines/cm) (preferred) or 100 lines/cm, (41 lines/cm).
 . Screen angle - Cyan 75°, Magenta 45°, Yellow 0°, Black 15°
 . Density range - 15 to 85%
 . Dot shape - elliptic.

Fonts:
Should not be less than 5 points (1.88mm) in positive print.

Lines:
Should not be less than 0.15 mm in positive print.

Registration Marks:
Line width 0.2 mm maximum and 5mm minimum outside the printing area.

Film:
CD label film should be Positive, Emulsion side up, Right reading.

Proof Page:
 A Test print is recommended in form of Chromalin, Match Print or Press Match.
 
Electronic Files:
Acceptable formats are, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Pagemaker. (Mac or IBM) or .eps files (Encapsulated Post Script) and .tif (Tagged Image File Format).
