3). Cross Promotion JV
I bet you've seen plenty of these types of promotions over
the past several months. This is when a lot of marketers
get
together and offer their products at no cost. In
return, they get to build huge opt-in lists thanks to
everyone's efforts.
I took part in three of these over the past 2 months, and I
got over 5,500 new subscribers. If you have your own
product
to contribute, cross promotional joint ventures are
the best way to build a large opt-in list. It also gives
you credibility
to be involved with other well known
marketers.
4). Thank You Page JV
A thank you page JV is also a very good way to build up
your credibility. Its also a good way to add subscribers to
your
list while not doing any extra work.
What you need to do is get 4-5 other publishers together
and recommend their ezines on your thank you page. Now,
whenever
you get a new subscriber, they will be directed to
a page where you recommend a few ezines and they can
subscribe to
as many of those as they want.
When someone subscribes to one of your partners ezines,
they'll be shown the same recommendation and will have the
option
of signing up to your ezine. After you set it up the
first time, you can get new subscribers just by doing what
you
usually do - no extra work is required, but it keeps
working for you.
5). Reputation - Word of Mouth
After a while, your reputation will start to spread (good
or bad!), and your subscribers will start to recommend you
to
their friends.
These are among the best subscribers you can get, as they
are being sent their by someone they already know and
trust.
This just increases your credibility and that
subscriber will probably remain on your list for a long
time.
