Hi,
Hello again to you, and a special welcome to all you new members!
Boy, spring is right upon us, regardless of the early date. It almost reached
70 degrees yesterday here is Seattle– can you believe it? Those peas I planted are already poking up their heads. I
keep on thinking of reasons to go outside, and, yes, I do work inside with the screen door open so I can feel the air. Delightful!
Hard as it is to think about work, I do try and keep some form of regular advertisements
going, buy hey, have you noticed how many aren’t getting through these days? One never really knows. This week several
of the usually very reliable newsletters I subscribe to were late or didn’t arrive at all. Emails I sent to a few were
returned as undeliverable, and the publishers said that they weren’t able to get mail at all, and weren’t sure
why. Guess you and I are not the only ones having problems with the Spam wars.
I have found a neat little free program to track my emails and let me know
when they’re answered, though. (Thanks to Lisa Reddells’s Left-Handed Times. for this one).
I use Outlook Express, but it claims to be compatible with almost any email
program including Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Pegasus, Netscape Mail and Incredimail. By the way, I’ve noticed
no strange spyware or additional junk mail. Want to give it a try? Here’s the link:

Think I’ll do some program reviews in the coming weeks, but today my
thoughts are on advertising opportunities for those of you already involved with programs of your own, so here goes –
are you using any of these?
If you like surfing, WolfSurfer has been around for quite awhile –
one thing I like about them is they approve all the links before they are shown. It’s free to join, and I believe they
are giving 200 credits for joining right now. You can also talk to real people there if you have any kind of problem. I once
bought a ridiculous amount of credits for a really small price and then didn’t hear from the other person involved.
I emailed support and they got me my credits. Hey, I’ll go for good service anytime. Anyhow, here’s the link:

There are a couple of good free solo ad programs I’ve used. First one
you may have seen on my website. It’s Solo ads – also free to join, and I’ve gotten pretty good results
with it. How it works is you look at usually three or so ads a day and earn points towards a solo of your own. I use a yahoo
mailbox for this kind of thing, but really, they don’t send that many solos per day. Here’s this link:

Another good one is Click4-Ads. This one gives you a few more ads to
view – no more than 10 a day, though, and, again, when you’ve accumulated enough points, you can run your ad for
free. This one has banner ads and several other ad options as well and gets good click-thrus because you have to view the
ad for 20 seconds and you can only click once. Here’s the link:

All of these, of course may be found on my website as well as the archives
of my past messages and all those lovely free articles, so stop by and have a look around why don’t you.
