*~*~*~*

Hi ,

I’d like to say a special hello as well to all the new members who have joined this past week. Good to have you aboard – and please feel free to send me an email ( jmwoodson@earthlink.net ) with any comments, questions, suggestions or complaints. Of course, that goes for you who are regulars as well – but you know that already, right? 8>}

It’s been a rather strange week here in Seattle as far as weather is concerned. First of all there was snow – not very much snow, but still, enough snow to make a person want to run out and make a snowman which a lot of people did. You had to be quick, however, because it almost immediately turned to rain, and then within a few days, it got unseasonably warm, Go figure!

When the weather was bad, I had started to go through my file drawers. I haven’t done that in quite some time, and believe me, even I was shocked at what I found there – there were things I had filed away four or five years ago! Anyway, the weather then turned, and now two file drawers are still sitting on my floor only half sorted out because spring fever has set in. Is this happening to anyone else?

Of course, it didn’t help that right about then my first seed catalogs arrived, and naturally, I had to go to my garden to see how everything fared in the snow and frost. Almost everything survived, and before I had even cleaned up what little spoilage there was, I found myself thinking about this years’ garden. Oh my. I know it’s going to get cold again, but in the meantime, if this is happening to any of you, I’ll give you a couple of links that might be timely.

Any of you remember The Farmer’s Almanac? Well, did you know there was an almanac online? This has material on everything from gardening to astronomy, weather, and food. You can check it out here: http://www.almanac.com

If you have children or grandchildren, this is an excellent source of entertainment ideas. It’s called The Rainy Day Resources Page and has ideas ranging from computer games and resource pages to arts and crafts and even recipes that are fun to make with kids.

Here’s the link: http://www.cpinternet.com/~sarah/

And last, but certainly not least, here’s a program I belong to that is especially for gardeners. You probably won’t get rich with this one, but there are a lot of gardeners who would have fun with this. There are monthly articles (January’s is all about garlic), a forum, good advertising help, and excellent support. They also put money in my Pay Pal account every month, and I’m sure they could do the same for you if you just put a little effort into getting the word out. After all, it is the season, especially if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.

May I suggest you click on the banner and check it out for yourself?

Naturally you can also find this on my website as well as the archives of previous messages, articles, other recommended programs and the free e-book download with resell rights on starting your own home business.. Why not give a visit and look around..

May Peace and Harmony Prevail.
