Hi,
Hello again to you all. We have quite a few new members this week – a
special welcome to you. And if you are a regular reader - glad to have you back for this second issue of 2005.
Pretty hard not to spend some time thinking about our earth and the people
in it these days. What with the Tsunami in Asia and Africa, the mudslide in California, the ice storms in the Midwest and
torrential rains in California – just to name a few things, there’s plenty to think about, but what with the busy
schedules that many of us have, what’s a person to actually do?
If you are a person who wants to contribute something to your planet while
you earn, I’d like to suggest a membership in Permaworld’s PermaCare. I’ve been a member for over a year
now and the people involved here are continually finding ways to make your membership more valuable as a business and more
able to serve the community.
Not only do they provide tools to help you with your business such as an ad
tracker, an autoresponder, and web-hosting services, but also, half of your subscription fee will go to the organization of
your choice.
It’s a good way to keep up with the latest news on Earthcare as there
is a monthly newsletter and a live news feed that you can access from your member website as well..
There are currently seven organizations to choose from.
Permaculture International teach and promote the art & science of permaculture design and sustainable living to a
worldwide audience. Shepherd Conservation Society is dedicated
to protecting precious marine life and their habitats from illegal and unethical fishing activities in international waters. Amazon
International Rainforest Reserve protect and preserve a vast area
of land in the Amazon Rainforest helping save the 'lungs of the world'. Trees for
the Future plant life giving trees around the world and educate others
on how to care for the land. Grupedsac teach and promote sustainable development
within Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. International Dolphin Watch is dedicated to
the care and understanding of dolphins and their beneficial interaction with humans. Institute of Tropical Agriculture (KITA) is
based in Kumasi, Ghana. KITA is a non-profit, non-governmental institute providing vocational technical training and consultancy
in general tropical agriculture and permaculture design, principles and practice.
May I suggest you click
on the banner and check it out for yourself?

If you were busy last week, or didn’t get a chance to download your free
ebook, I’ve left it up on my website. It is called Home Based Business Advice to Help You Start Your Own Business.
It includes advice on starting all sorts of both online and offline home based businesses from medical billing to
daycare to office cleaning and more, so no matter what sort of business you are thinking of getting into, there will be information
for you here. The book is free. It’s a PDF file, so you need an acrobat reader to read it. If you don’t have one,
you can download one for free here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html| To download the book, click on my banner below, and then on the Articles and Downloads page. It is the Top
Item.

By the way, this book includes resell and give-a-way rights, so you can pass
it along to others as well, and you will find the second new article right below it. This one is more geared towards the Internet
marketer. Enjoy!
Would like to take a moment to wish us all a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous
New Year.
These are difficult times for many right now. Thought I’d leave you with
one more website. It’s called The Hunger Site, and you can go there and just click on their button, and a small
portion of food will be donated on your behalf. It doesn’t cost anything – I’ve been clicking on it daily
for several years now, but at this time, they are concentrating on relief for the Tsunami victims. They work with both Mercy
Corps and America’s Second Harvest. You can find them here: http://www.thehungersite.com
May Peace and Harmony Prevail.
