Hi,

Hello again to you all, and a special welcome to all you new members!

What a fine early November we’re having here in the Pacific Northwest! Leaves are just beginning to accumulate – I was gathering some to put over my peonies as mulch this afternoon – and it was just gorgeous. The sun was out, but the air was cool and had that marvelous earthy wet leaves smell. Dogs were frolicking in the park as was a large group of high school kids with their Frisbees on their way home from school. Quite a fine afternoon break I must say – now what was I going to put in this column today anyway?

Just kidding. J Remember when I was talking about doubler programs a few weeks ago? Well, this week I came across a really good article on this – much more in-depth than the previous information. The gentleman who wrote it also has a first alert bulletin one could subscribe to. I’ll put the article up on my website on the article page, so if you’ve been thinking or wondering about this type of program, Click on my site below and check it out.

And by the way, while we are on the subject of websites, here’s a fun one for you. It’s the Smithsonian National Zoological Park and has quite a bit of information and great photos. This is one of those sites either children or adults can enjoy! Here’s the link.

Sure would like to get some dialog going - what about you? What would you like to say in your newsletter? I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you'd like to see here, or how we might work together to help each other. so come on, drop me an email, ok?

Have a great week!
