I worked at the speedway for four years doing the "play-by-play" on Saturday nights.

The picture to the left was taken in the press box during the 1998 racing season. I think I had a little too much sun that day -- I'm really red!

I've announced so many of the fans' birthdays over the years that the Steinbecks thought it would be nice to have a birthday party complete with a birthday cake just for me!
