| Below, you'll find links to specific Cal Poly courses and events of which I was involved. You'll find pictures taken from SCETA-sponsored field trips and picnics. Additionally, links to homework files for IE416 / EGR549 Operations Research (IE416 / EGR549) and the 1998 IME Colloquium (IME499) have been added. As Secretary and President of Cal Poly Pomona's Southern California Engineering Technologists' Association (SCETA), I helped keep the club's members in contact with industries in the Southern California area. Throughout the quarters, we had several meetings in which a guest speaker from a local industry explained the kind of work his or her company involves itself. SCETA always provided a couple of tours each quarter for members to get a first-hand look at some of the companies in the area. At the end of each academic year, our Engineering Technology department sponsored a banquet in which alumni and personnel from different companies attended, and SCETA provided several benefits to attendees. Benefits included a resume booklet containing resumes from students studying within the ET department. SCETA members include students from the Engineering Technology disciplines of Aerospace, Construction, Electronics & Computer, Manufacturing, and Mechanical -- but is open to all majors.
