Shade Cloth installed over a couple of skylight panes for the months of maximum light

 

Morning light through frosted glass - a bit strong for the Phal's, so they were moved shortly after. Rock tray needs refilling every other day or so in the summer. Hmm... maybe I should Photoshop the roll holder out.

Orchid #1 - Oncidium "Gower Ramsey" Bloomed with approx 75 flowers beginning ~4/15/01.	Orchid #2 - Oncidium "Tiger Hambuhren 4N X Oda. Mazorka" Purchased 4/00 at a garden sale in Woodacre, CA.
Orchid #3 - Phalaenopsis [(Taisuco Snow x Yukimai) X Tailhort Snowdian] D2261 Retrieved from "pasture" 5/00. Bloomed 7/15/00 through 8/15/00. Not happy upon a return...	Orchid #5 - Phalaenopsis w/o tag. Bloomed w/ 5 flowers on 3/2/01.
Orchid #7 - Miltonium Rogue "Picardie" Received as gift from Tracy 9/00. Blooming when received, with a single spike w/ six purple & white flowers w/ yellow centers. Held buds through 10/00, as shown in photograph.	Orchid #8 - Beallara Tropical Splendor "Golden Gate" (078 Beallara = Bllra = Brs x Cda x Milt x odm) Received as gift from Malini 11/00. Smells like pepper. Held star-shaped blooms for through beginning of December '00.
Orchid #9 - Dendrobium w/o tag. Possibly a Dendrobium Bigibbum. Retrieved from "pasture" 1/01.	Orchid #10 - Brassia Caudata #235 Purchased from Marin Orchid Society booth at on 5/5/01.
Orchid #11 - Maxillaria Tenufolia Purchased 6/3/01 from the Orchid Booth at the Marin County Farmers Market for $28.	Orchid #12 - Oncidium "Tiger Hambuhren 4N X Oda. Mazorka" Split from Orchid #2 on 7/5/01.

Rotted through roots. Repotted. Did not recover.
