I am a retired engineer with several hobbies, one of which is sphere making.  And sphere making evolved into sphere machine making.  And sphere machine making evolved into sphere machine selling.  I do believe that these sphere machines are the most affordable that you will find anywhere.

My Business Philosophy
My business philosophy is pretty simple.  If you are not satisfied, I will refund your money less shipping costs.  If I have misrepresented the product, I will refund all of your money.

The objective of this business is to provide a good workable product at a reasonable price and reliable service.  I hope you will enjoy visiting this web site and using the products.

Material Selection

Wherever possible, wood is used in the construction of these machines.  I have found that wood is a strong, light and easily worked material that can be used in a lot of machines.  Plus which, it is less expensive than any other material.  And, as a matter of fact, I scrounge it whenever I can to further reduce the costs.  Most of the pieces are small and can be recovered from what would otherwise be waste.

Do It Yourself

Many of you may be tempted to copy these ideas and build your own machines.  Excellent idea.  There is nothing secret or hidden.  If you build a machine that looks like one of these, it will probably work like one of these.  The 4 head sphere machine is particularly easy to construct and I've found it to be very tolerant about set up.  A rock grinder is even easier to build.  A chop type rock saw is pretty simple and if you are nervous about building one from scratch, I'll sell you plans.  Or sell you the assembled saw, minus the motor.

My Shop

My shop is a small building behind the swimming pool in my back yard.  It contains a small milling machine and a metal cutting lathe and various other tools and equipment.  I spend many hours there working on whatever piques my interest.
