More Reasons to Impeach George W. Bush
While the media focused your attention on the "runaway bride" and Saddam Hussein's underwear, you might have missed the real
news: A British intelligence memo leaked the truth about the Bush's secret plan to invade Iraq. According to the memo, the
Bush administration was trying to shape intelligence information to support invading Iraq, even before 9-11 !
Read more about the Downign Street Memo and sign a petition to ask Congress to hold hearings at http://www.downingstreetmemo.com/
Bush lied to Congress, the American people and the world. He should be impeached. Former Attorney General Ramsy Clark has
drated articles of impeachment, Read them at http://www.impeachbush.org )
The greatest threat to freedom and the U.S. is not in Iraq, it is in the White House. The Republican Right is trying to stop
the Democrats from filibustering the most extreme of Bush's judicial nominees (even though they filibustered many more Clinton
nominees!), and it doesn't look like the Democrats have much power to stop them. Bush's nominees are anti-labor, anti-environment,
and anti-gay. One example, former AL Attorney General Bill Pryor, the only state AG to support the Texas sodomy law, was
temporarily appointed by The Shrub to the 11th Cir. Court last year while Congress was in recess. One of Pryor's first actions
was to cast the deciding vote to support Florida's anti-gay adoption law.
The fight over Bush's judicial nominees underscores the importance of voting and highlights the major difference between electing
a Democrat or a Republican president. Republican nominees are more pro-business and anti-labor, anti-environment and anti-gay
while Democratic nominees are more pro-labor, pro-environment, and supportive of civil rights.
Remember this in 2008 when you consider whether to vote and who to vote for.

Uncle Tom Rep. Spokane Mayor Jim West
Spokane Mayor Jim West is now crying crocodile tears over being "outed" crusing boys, I mean "young men"
on the internet. It's hard to have any sympathy for the man since as a ultra-conservative OPPONENT of gay rights he has attacked
"liberalism" and the gay community, in between his sexual adentures on gay.com...
The problem with Uncle Tom Republicans like Jim West is that they make a political career and gain power by attacking gays
and their liberal allies, and then claim they are a "victim" of gay-bashing when the truth comes out about their
own secret lives.
He does not deserve the sympathy of the gay community, just the opposite. He is scum!

John Kerry and Spineless Liberals
Last week John Kerrry criticized the Massachusetts Democratic Party stating that he thought it was a mistake for the party
to include in its official platform a plank supporting same-sex marriage, and that such a statement does not conform with
the broad views of party members.
However, it is Kerry and other fainthearted liberals who are wrong and who are not in line with the Democratic Party, especially
in Massachusetts where surveys show that 71 percent of Democrats and over half of the general population in the state support
the right of gays and lesbians to marry!
While the support of gay marriage in Massachusetts may have helped Bush defeat Kerry in the general election, and the Democrats
will lost support in the conservative south, there is no political reason for Kerry to oppose a civil rights issue that is
popular in his own state!
This is another example of how faint-hearted democrats like Kerry, who I supported in the last presidential election because
he was more progressive than Bush on most issues, do not stand firm and defend their values and beliefs. This lack of clear
convictions, more than gay rights, is why Kerry and moderate Democrats lose elections to conservative Republicans who at least
stand up for what they believe in.
While Kerry and some Democratic Party leaders are getting cold feet over gay marriage, the Massachusetts and California Democratic
Parties have approved or will approve planks in their platforms supporting the right of gays and lesbians to marry. Party
leaders may have a right to worry about the political consequences of Democrats in liberal states supporting gay marriage
on conservative southern states, and it may cost the Democrats another Presidential election.

Pat Robertson Opens His Mouth Again...
On a May 1st appearance on This Week with George Stephanopoulos", Pat Robertson claimed that (liberal) judges are worse
than terrorists! Robertson said that the judiciary is the worst treat America has faced in 400 years, even worse than Nazi
Germany, the Civil War or terrorism! "There is an asssault on mariage. There's an assault on human sexuality...They've
taken sides in the culture war." There is a cultural war alright... Theocrats like Robertson are waging a war on the
Constitution of the United States and dismantling the "wall of separation" between church and state, with the help
of the Republican Right and the Bush Administration.
