reworded to recognize the inherent
unconstitutionality of Roe v. Wade.

stipulation against the marriage penalty was
added to the "Taxation" plank.

entire site received a major overhaul, from
refinements in language to new banners and
navigation bars.

changes in language were made on the front page.

The
CP page has gotten a bit of an overhaul, with the
main page getting spruced up with a footer bar
for links, the platform planks being renamed, and
so forth.

"Election Laws" plank has been
modified, with support given towards Doolittle's
bill for campaign financing.

The
"Taxation" plank has been
further modified to support the flat income tax
plan as proposed by Dick Armey.
The
"Military" plank has been
changed slightly, so that now the purpose of the
military is not only to defend the nation, but
also to defend our allies, which was an oversight
to exclude.
8/04/97
The
plank of "Taxation" has been modified
to exempt the first $15,000 of income from being
taxable under the proposed flat income tax.
Another
informational resource link was added to the
"Social Security" plank.
