Case Studies

To help businesses understand how the concept of Universal Design can be applied, the Center for Universal Design conducts research on examples of Universal Design in business. Brief case studies are researched and written, then approved by the subject organization.

One of these organizations, Leviton Manufacturing Company, Inc. became the subject of a business teaching case written for Design Management Institute and Harvard Business School by James Mueller, consultant to the Center, and Cynthia Ingols, a Harvard Business School Professor.
