The following breeders are known to me to be conscientious and strive to produce fine dogs. They meet my highest standard in that I would buy a puppy from them. More specifically, I believe these breeders meet my qualifications of: breeding only dogs that have been hunt tested (both sire and dam) and strongly encouraging progeny testing; certification of hips of sire and dam; not breeding a bitch more than once per year; not breeding any dog before it is two years of age; properly care for and socialize the puppies; and will guarantee each puppy sold. Of course, these breeders will provide SMCNA registration papers, and possibly NAVHDA pedigrees also. Some of them may breed regularly and others may have only one litter every few years. I believe these people breed for improvement of the breed and their love of the dogs.

I am not warranting the puppies sold by these or any breeders that were referred to you through this site. It is the buyer's responsibility to discuss all matters with the breeder prior to making a deposit and purchasing your puppy.

I only ask that you tell these breeders where you heard about them. Please let me know how it works out, where you get a puppy and anything else important. I want to continually update this list to ensure that each breeder posted meets my high standards. If you are a breeder, agree with these standards, and would like to be listed, contact me.
