Angel is shown on our Small Munsterlander Pointer page and on her own page. Angel received two NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize II awards. Angel is our little girl. She is extremely affectionate, like her mother, and has a lot of drive in the field. She paces herself well in the field and has a very good search, covering the field very nicely. She has all of the characteristics moonsters are known for, good nose, strong pointing and retrieving instincts, is an excellant tracker, uses the wind to her (our) advantage, and loves water. She is vocal when on furred game. She has a very good tail that is always carried high, and she checks in to keep in contact with her human hunters. Angel is 20 inches and 36 pounds. She has a very sleek, dense and flat-lying coat. Her hip dysplasia certification was rated good by OFA.

Thor received a NA Prize I with a maximum score of 112. He received a Prize I in the NAVHDA Utility test with 187 points. This was a good performance and he shows a lot of ability and desire. Thor is a {short description of image}beautiful dog with a wonderful personality. He is owned by Mick and Gail Jensen. We thank them for the opportunity to use him in our breeding program. The

Jensen's first Small Munsterlander was also produced from the same breeding as Thor. Thor is a strong hunter and used regularly on pheasants, grouse, quail, ducks and geese. He has very nice ears, tail and furnishings. His hair is a little longer than Angels, dense, sleek and flat-lying. He is 21 and 1/2 inches and weighs approximately 52 pounds. He hunts with great style and desire.

Please view the "C" Litter page for the pedigree of this repeat breeding.

We sell our pups under a contract, and we required that the pups be tested in the NAVHDA Natural Ability test prior to 16 months of age. We want our pups to go to homes that will be able to test the pups and have them live with their family. Puppies from the D Litter went to Alaska, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Our pups are registered with the Small Munsterlander Club of North America, Inc. and NAVHDA.

Our pups are whelped in our house and receive much daily attention and human interaction. Our children help see to that chore. We place our pups between 8 and 10 weeks. We expect the pups will live in the house with the family. If your family lives in the kennel, then so too may your dog. We provide registration papers, pedigrees, pictures, and information on the parents and some of the dogs in the pedigree. Our litters are registered with the Small Munsterlander Club of North America, Inc. and NAVHDA. We will provide you with registration papers upon receipt from the registries. You will receive instructions on care, feeding and follow-up veterinarian care and shots. Our pups are sold under a contract that requires NAVHDA Natural Ability testing. You will be expected to test your puppy in a NAVHDA Natural Ability test before it is 16 months of age. A significant amount of training is not necessary, however, you will have to dedicate time to giving the puppy exposure to birds in the field, tracking pheasants, and it will have to have exposure to water and be comfortable swimming. All fun things for you and your dog and a wonderful way to increase the bond between you and your new companion. It is not fair to the individual dog, breeder or the breed to not test these dogs, or to just show up without proper exposure of the puppy. If at any time during the dog's life that you are unable to keep the dog, we ask for the first right of refusal to take the dog back. Our goal is to produce high quality dogs for the foot hunter. We are striving to produce world class Small Munsterlander Pointers that will excel in the woods, fields and water, and that will be faithful companions in the home. We strongly support NAVHDA and its testing programs, as well as the Small Munsterlander Pointer Club of North America, Inc. and its Code of Ethics. We will only breed our dogs when we feel we can produce dogs that will benefit the hunter/companion and the breed. To be eligible for breeding, our dogs have achieved a qualifying score in a NAVHDA Natural Ability or higher test, hips have been certified as good or better by the OFA, and the breeding has been approved by the Breed Council of the Small Munsterlander Club of North America, Inc. Purchasing a puppy or adult dog is a big decision and a big commitment. You need to be sure of your decision and you have every right to expect these high standards from your breeder. Ask lots of questions, be sure of your decision. If you have selected a Small Munsterlander Pointer as your next dog, you have already made a significant choice. Follow through with one of several reputable breeders that will provide you with a good dog from tested lineage. However, please be aware that relatively few litters are whelped each year. It is not uncommon for people to wait for over a year for their very special moonster, but puppies are becoming more available. Good Hunting.
