A member of the United States Equestrian Team jumper squads Leslie Burr Howard won the team Gold medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the team Silver medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Chris Kappler will be one of four riders to represent the U.S. at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo.
The selectors felt that Royal Kaliber's performance, including wins in both the $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational and the American Grandprix Association Championship within an eight-day period earlier this spring, warranted this.
They recommended his selection to the Pan American team to the Show Jumping High Performance Committee who then endorsed the selection to the USET and USAE Executive Committees, both of whom supported the recommendations of the Selectors and Show Jumping High Performance Committee and granted approval.

Margie Goldstein Engle rode Hidden Creek's Perin to a 10th place tie in the Individual Show Jumping competition and a 6th place team finish at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
She was the highest placed woman and the highest placed U.S. rider in the individual competition.
Just weeks before, she and Hidden Creek's Laurel took 1st place in the $150,000 Grand Prix at the Hampton Classic in Bridgehampton, N.Y.

Guillermo "Memo" Gracida, Jr. was elected to the Polo Hall of fame Feb. 7, 1997.

A three-time Olympian and four-time Pan American Games veteran, Michael Matz has won the U.S. Equestrian Team Show Jumping Championship a record six times.
A veteran of the 1976 Montreal and 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, Matz won a team Silver Medal at the 1996 Atlanta Games.
Matz has also ridden in three World Championships where he has won a Team Gold Medal, as well as Team and Individual Bronze Medals.
